"Haley Jones has all the wry, edgy, anxious humor that the character of Roxie Hart demands. Jones captivates the audience with her hilarious and spunky version of the character that harkens back to a young Gwen Verdon (who originated the role on Broadway.) Jones can sing and dance, but she's also a powerful actor. She is brassy, beautiful and a heck of a dancer! She brings a perfectly timed delivery to the jokes and a perfectly played obsession to the publicity starved character. Jones takes this show to new heights."

Actor Singer Dancer

About me

Hey y'all!

I am a passionate actress, singer and dancer with strong comedic skills.

Recent contracts include; Frenchy in Grease on RCCL'S  Independence of the Seas, Roxie Hart in Chicago at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, and Patty/onstage swing for the National Tour of A Charlie Brown Christmas, Live!

I was born and raised in Northern Kentucky, where I first began work as a professional actress doing on-camera work in Cincinnati and performing with The Children's Theater of Cincinnati. After attending The Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts and graduating in Drama, I attended Otterbein University in Columbus Ohio, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Acting and a dance minor. I spent one month studying theater and history in London where I earned the title "Lady Haley" due to my English heritage and love for tea and Shakespeare. After completing an internship with Tara Rubin Casting, I began working regionally.  I now reside in New York City.

In between theatrical contracts, I fill my time with auditions, new works, readings, organizing classes for my alumni group, and volunteering for The Dramatist Guild Fund. I am also a published poet, certified Vinyasa yoga instructor, and Mensa Menber.  My poetry collection The Travel Guide For Broken Hearts can be found on Amazon or Kindle.

"We are stardust, we are golden, And we've got to get ourselves back to the garden." -Joni Mitchell

This quote is printed on the first page of Liz Duffy Adams' play, OR,.

OR, parallels the 1660's and the 1960's in this bawdy Restoration sex farce. It is funny, witty, and relevant in unexpected ways. I am delighted to take on the role of Nell Gywnne (and others) this fall at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, directed by Aileen McGroddy.
